AH Licence Agreement 2022 / 2023

Acceptance of the terms and conditions as set out in the QAH Licence Agreement.

Deposit

A deposit of £500 must be paid on application for a room. This is quite separate from the fees. This deposit (less any bank fees deducted from this or subsequent payments) is refunded at the end of the final term of residence provided the terms and conditions as set out in the QAH Licence Agreement are met.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation if notice is given less than 30 calendar days after accepting the offer for 2022 / 2023 but before 16 July 2021, no charges will apply.

If between thirty (30) days or more after accepting the offer but before 16 July 2022: Deposit becomes a cancellation fee (£500).

Less than 10 days after accepting the offer and after the 16 July 2022 but at least 14 days prior to the start of the Licence period: Licence fee pro-rated for 4 weeks

Ten (10) or more days after accepting the offer and/or later than 14 days prior to but at least 1 day before the start of the Licence period: Licence fee for the Licence period.

If you fail to cancel your booking before (or indeed accept an offer of accommodation after) 9.00am the day before the start of Licence period you will be arriving, you will be liable to pay for the full Licence Fee (the Licence term) and you will only be able to terminate the Licence by following the procedure set out in clause 14 (Early termination of the Licence by the Resident).

If the Licence agreement is formed during the Licence period: If you inform us that you are exercising your right to terminate after the start of the period of residence or fail to inform that you will not be taking up your booked accommodation, an administration fee of £500 will be charged.

Cancelation fee must be paid within 14 days of being invoiced.

The maximum stay at Queen Alexandra’s House is 5 years.

Fees are payable in advance of each term. Please refer to the QAH Licence Agreement for due dates, penalties for late payment and other terms and conditions.

Fee structure

The fee structure is based on room size –approximate sizes are as follows:

Premium Double Room up to 4m x 3.6m

Large Room up to 4m x 3.6m

Medium Room up to 3.5m x 2.5m

Small Room up to 2.6m x 3.2m
