Entries are accepted, after submission of an application form, on the following conditions:
QAH Licence Agreement
Acceptance of the terms and conditions as set out in the QAH Licence Agreement.
A deposit of £300 must be paid on application for a room. This is quite separate from the fees. This deposit (less any bank fees deducted from this or subsequent payments) is refunded at the end of the final term of residence provided the terms and conditions as set out in the QAH Licence Agreement are met.
In case of cancellation if 12 weeks’ notice before the student’s proposed date of entry to the House is given that a student no longer requires a room, a full refund is given. If between 8-11 weeks’ notice is given a 50% refund is due and if less than 8 weeks’ notice is given, there is no refund payable. Bank fees are deducted from refunds.
The maximum stay at Queen Alexandra’s House is 5 years.
Fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each term or period of residence. (Please refer to the QAH Licence Agreement for due dates, penalties for late payment and other terms and conditions).
The fee structure is based on room size –approximate sizes are as follows:
‘A’ Band 13ft x 12ft (4m x 3.6m)
‘B’ Band 11.8ft x 8.5ft (3.5m x 2.5m)
‘C’ Band 8.7ft x 10.7ft (2.6m x 3.2m)
